Over the past three years, we have proudly shaped learning, connecting and personal growth for entrepreneurs, small businesses and enterprise teams through E-Town and the Ignite Edmonton Festival. Each year we iterated on our offerings to best inspire our community to take risks and foster innovation in their own workplaces.

The 2015 edition of the Festival was an amazing opportunity to celebrate the expanded collaboration of our business, entrepreneurial and creative communities.

As we settle in to the structure and anticipation that Fall brings, this is an ideal time to share with you our decision to pause the Ignite Edmonton Festival and bring focus to the incredible programs, organizations and companies that provide the opportunity for similar engagement, year-round. I am inspired by the incredible wealth of options available in our city to collaborate in meaningful ways with peers across industry.

One of the new programs that we're excited to offer is Edmonton Made. Powered by Make Something Edmonton, this pilot program aims to showcase our city's entrepreneurs and connect them to existing programs and resources to help accelerate their success. For more information, visit www.edmontonmade.com.

We also invite you to join us for Edmonton Startup Week: October 17 – 21, 2016.  Five days of celebrating startups and entrepreneurship with more than 20 events - talks, workshops, mentorship, socials and more!

Keep an eye on this space.  We do see global + entrepreneurship as big opportunities and so you just might see the Ignite Festival evolve to serve this need some time in the future. Until then, thank you for trusting us with your time, staff and support.
